It’s normal to have questions about the counseling process. Before you decide to embark on your own counseling journey, read below.

Why online counseling?

  • Online counseling is convenient for clients. You can fit your sessions into a schedule that works for you without having to leave the comfort of your own home. 

  • Research has shown that online counseling is just as effective as in person counseling. 

  • Online counseling is safe, secure, and HIPPA compliant.


How long will our sessions be? 

Sessions will be 50 minutes in length. 


How much does a 50-minute session cost?

Individual sessions are 50 minutes and cost $110. Couples sessions are also 50 minutes and cost $120.


How often will we meet? 

Once we have committed to working together, the hope is that we will meet together once a week or once every other week. If you find yourself in a particularly difficult situation that calls for extra attention, we can meet more frequently. As we progress in our work together, we can discuss what it would look like to meet less regularly.


Do you offer sliding scale options?

Yes. I try to make my services affordable to a wide range of individuals. Sliding scale options are dependent upon my caseload at the time of inquiry. 


Do you accept insurance? 

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide my clients with a Superbill once a month in order to receive reimbursement from their insurance providers.
